Vest 2017 Winner Announced At Gala VEST Final Night 2017 | In my last entry I did share on the Gala Vest Carnival that was held on the 15 October 2017 at Dewan Dektar UKM Bangi. How about the Gala VEST Final Night 2017? Well it was held on the same day at the same location too. It was a grand and successful event for this 2017 year.

For everyone’s information, VEST embodies entrepreneurial culture among University student students and ultimately enters entrepreneurship as a career choice.VEST is known as Varsity, Entreprenuership Skills and Talents which had started since 6 months ago. These university students had gone through 6 months competition, where they have to come out with various techniques including sales, marketing, branding, effective communication, franchise opportunity and money management in order for the undergraduates to get ready to start their own business as an entrepreneur. Sounds cool & interesting ?
Information on Varsity Entrepreneurship Skills and Talents (VEST) program
A competition within colleges which more than 1,000 undergraduates from 20 educational institutes around Malaysia. It’s brought to our attention that more than 200 business ideas will be gathered from this program. Beside that the students will learn according to the syllabus given, assignment to be completed , 20 business coach will share experience, 3 Business Pitching assessment to be completed with the group discussion

Finalist of Gala VEST Final Night 2017
There are 10 groups that was selected to semi -finals but only 3 lucky groups was selected for the Gala VEST Final Night 2017. They are also guest of honored Dato Dr Mohd Izhar and Vice Chancellor of each university which took part Not to forget invited guest artist such as Heliza Helmi, Fizo Omar, Mawar Karim and Wany Hasrita, and the host for the night Faizal Ismail . Those finalist which being selected in the final will represent the University and required to present their VEST project on that night. Sound simple right ? Wait till you here this !!!! They need to present it in front of The Honorable Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak and The Honorable Dato’ Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

Winner of VEST at Gala VEST Final Night 2017
Third place winner is from University Kebangsaan Malaysia with their project Fast 2 Print. It’s a kiosk which will be placed in the University & students can use it to photostate their lecturer notes or documents regardless what time. It’s open 24 hours.
Second place winner is from Universiti Putra Malaysia. What is their project name? Serdang Cendol Project. I myself salute to their tea as they took the risk to presents their first ever project in English . Not everyone will have the confidence to do this. Well Serdang Cendol project has always been a place in the hearts of buyers who love to buy it
Guess by now, surely everyone will know who won the 1st place or Grand Prize. Its none other than Universiti Teknologi Petronas. With their project called Solvie Pro. Wonder what is it ? It’s an application that can install such as UBER system . This application is to find job vacancy. What make the application or the project wins the heart is when the system ready, we can figure out how much we will get paid for a day . Looking at other perspective which this can benefit and open up for employment opportunities to others. Again congratulations to all the winner. You all deserve it
